DO VISIT. She updates regularly unlike me <3 She won Singapore’s next Fashion Superblogger contest not long ago, and has been slowly growing in popularity! The contest is mainly about the contestants trying to piece together an entire outfit ( from the stores in Tampines One) with a certain article as the main subject.
Truth be told, when I read Urban one day (yes Goofy reads Urban) I saw her on it, and I thought I was seeing things… until she appeared in the following week’s issue and I realised I wasn’t hallucinating. LAWL.
In any case I thought she was utterly brilliant in her concepts, being totally refreshing. I’m no fashionista, but I do like what I see. *wriggles eyebrows*
So congrats on winning again!

Ok enough of excessive advertising LOL so besides being up to date in the fashion world, Lenne also does photography. She got a new camera in time, and we decided to have a shoot with it! Me, Yumi, Estelle and Sai were her models and we went to Promenade to shoot. Chris did the hair for Yumi and Sai, while me and Estelle decided that we dislike our hair and wore wigs instead LAWL.
I’ve always been a short hair type of girl because it was low maintenance to me. I really didn’t like to wake up in the morning and spend like an hour to fix my hair. But then, you know, I always wondered how I would look like in nice proper (natural-colored) long hair. The wig was from ebay and I got it for like around 30 bucks or less. Cheap I know! I’m totally loving it.
Actually the theme is like, Korean girls (and one man) in the city because of the local Korean craze LOL So we tried to adapt Korean fashion into it. I even researched on how to do makeup. Koreans like to keep it simple forgoing loud eyeshadows and such. But we all think that I ended up looking more Japanese instead (not that I’m complaining) because of my big eyes.

And me. Nuff said. LOL.
It was perhaps then I realised that having long hair is like having a superpower, for a girl who has short hair for a long time since Secondary School. I never grew my hair till that length, but I figured I could give it a go now! Singapore’s weather is stupidly hot though. My hair is around shoulder length now, and I got it rebonded too :3 now I feel like I can face the world frizz-free.

Thanks to Togusa and Kaze for coming down to lend a helping hand! Togu was a lifesaver in bringing a reflector which I oh-so-gladly used to blind people with, I mean, reflect light for the photos. LOLOL. MY reflector skillz is now lvl 13 HAHAHAHA.

It has been a god long hiatus because of several things.
1. School
2. Job/Work
4. Just laziness (I’m sure people can relate, right?)
I know that these are just plain excuses! But I just wasn’t prepared to juggle them all! Then I just felt uber lazy about everything. But hey, at least I’m back. I truly missed everyone. I seriously just disappeared off the face of the earth for a long time.
SO ANYWAY LATEST UPDATE. I WENT FOR STREETFEST! *PARADES AROUND THE SCREEN*
I was so excited over it because it has been a long time since I cosplayed a girl.
Not saying that I don’t ever want to do men again ofcourse Iwanna get laid before I become an old fart , but I simply want to add more female charas into my cosplay list \o/
So ANYWAY, I did Will of the Abyss from Pandora Hearts, from this beautiful artwork. I know it doesn’t look much, but the accessories gave me a bit of a headache. Like I couldn’t find snow white flowers and had to spray paint them. Then on Saturday night the spray paint ran out and I had to handpaint them instead. The pearl strings broke resulting in me crawling all over the floor to find all of demfarkingballs. And then the heels broke my toenail. LAWL.
And I wouldn’t take credit about making the dress. It was Jessie who made it all possible. She does costumes for a lot of cosplayers for a reasonable price considering the superb quality. If theres any of you who are in need of a good tailor, email me and I’ll give you her contact! (LOCAL ONLY)
Streetfest started around 2pm, so me and Kirisaki(as Alice) decided to have a shoot in the morning before we head down to the event at Plaza Singapura! We went to Botanical Gardens. Previous night I checked the weather forecast and it told me we were doomed to have a thunderstorm so I was quite emo about it. Then the forecast was a lie and it turned out to be horrendously hot and sunny. Seriously, these people shouldn’t get paid to give us shitty info. *shakes fist*

I’ve actually been going to gym regularly for around 2 months now. So now my legs look slightly muscular LAWL.
(Football bouquet is made especially for the World Cup Season HAHA)

Kiri got pretty tired after the shoot D: so she went home after saying a few His at the event. I stayed on till around 6pm and went home because my feet were crying in pain. Not that the heels were high, but they were slightly pointy toed and squished all my toes together quite tightly.
Oh yea, here’s a tip if any of you are planning to do cosplays that needs epic exposure of legs. Remember to shave, moisturise, and use Sally Hansen’s airbrush spray for legs. I used it for both this cosplay and my Chii cosplay, and it does wonders to improve the look of your pins! Makes your scars and bruises disappear. It’s a bit of a hassle to put on, and it might rub off on your clothing, but it really does work. Stockings are always an option but they usually don’t match your skin tone, so yup.

It was my first time attempting to cut AND style my wig actually. I’m usually too scared to ruin my wig so I ask people like Kiri and Shizu to cut it before I style it myself :3 And I’m quite happy with the result and proud of myself *puffs chest* :>

Oh, it was so nice doing Rhode again :3 she was my very first cosplay. I felt that I didn’t do her justice then, so I had a chance to make up for it now. Shizu’s tailor is awesome, therefore my dress is so purdy <3 I hope to be able to wear it again! ( NOT FOR CNY PRZ VALDA )
So anyway <3 I did Rhode in her casual dress, when her father made his first appearance! Had the shoot last Sunday, at Victoria Concert Hall.

I followed the manga and had black hair and black tights because it looks nicer. Rhode is so cute without her spikey hair. Sorry, but I had something against her durian head LAWL.
Here’s the epic thing. I used part of my real hair during my first cosplay of Rhode. And I also did the same thing for this Rhode cosplay. Reason being my wig bangs were too short, so I “extended” them using my real hair. 8D I feel like such a cheater. In this version I used a black wig because I followed more closely to the manga version. And I honestly think black looks better than dark blue on Rhode.
Anyway, I love my epic team of Shizu, Kiri, Valda and Thelindra as Kanda, Allen, Lavi and Lenalee <3 I’m sorry for being such an extra Noah HAHAHA. Thanks to the photogs, and thumbs up for the saikangs for the great shoot. I’m glad no one got heatstroke from the stupid weather.

Good news. My FYP is over as from last week, but I have attachment coming up. Holidays are holidays, and I’m determined to enjoy myself. Sad thing is, can’t really work or anything because school is a dick and demands me to be available at all times in case of interviews.
More like sending me off to slave factories.
Urgh, well, I’m hoping to make it to GCA this coming september!

But er, Marina Barrage is a beautiful place with a very nice view of the sky. But honestly the weather was horribly atrocious to the point where I can’t even open my eyes properly without them stinging from the dun. Sadly, the camera battery died suddenly and Lenne couldn’t take photos >_< so they are shooting next time. And I can’t go because it’s my birthday and I have to celebrate it with my boyfriend and family <3

I want to apologise for being MIA to all my cosplay friends. Lately for the past weeks, I’ve been dealing with personal problems and FYP, so I basically pretty much shut myself up in school and refused to do any cosplay-related stuff until I’m in a better mood. Sad to say, this is gonna continue on until August when my FYP ends.
<3 On a happy note, I’m going to TGX this Sunday. I can’t wait to see all my friends again <3
Oh, and, I won’t be able to make it to Cosfest. Due to FYP, I had to cancel my plans and do more important stuff that required my attention. I’m not regretting it though, haha. Hope you guys have fun next weekend. <3
